Knockninny Marina is located  on Upper Lough Erne, and enjoys a centralised location on the Erne Waterway System. Ideally positioned midstream of the Upper and Lower Lakes, our private marina is nestled peacefully, just off the busy A509, Derrylin. With drive times from either Belfast or Dublin of just 90 minutes,  getting to enjoy quality time on your boat is never far away.

Sited only 11 miles from Fermanagh's county town of Enniskillen and 18 miles from Cavan town, you can find us just outside Derrylin.

Is there a Bar or Restaurant Close By?

Yes! Located right in our grounds is Knockninny Country House, which offers a  licensed restaurant and bar overlooking the marina and Lough Erne. The venue also hosts live music evenings and weekends.

Is there accommodation close to Knockninny Marina?

Cruising Times

Centrally located between Upper and Lower Lough Erne, Slow Cruise times to Enniskillen (Northern Ireland, Lower Lough Erne) and Belturbet (Republic of Ireland, Upper Lough Erne) is 2 hours. For those of you who prefer faster boating, travel time is 1 hour.


Are there Parking Facilities?

We have barrier access parking facilities on site. There is also additional parking at the public area Knockninny Quay, just adjacent to us.

What about Grocery Shops?

We are located just 2 miles from Derrylin, where there are  2 supermarkets as well as other  shops, bars, cafe's and off licenses. Enniskillen is just 11 miles away.

Shower & Toilet Facilities

Just adjacent to us at Knockninny Quay there are public toilets and showers provided by FODC and Waterways Ireland. Kept beautifully clean and there is always hot water!

Things To Do & See

The Fermanagh Lakelalands boast lots of things to see and do. We are located on just the "right side" of the lake to easily get to the world renowned Marble Arch Caves Geopark and The Cuilcagh Boardwalk; Stairway to Heaven https://marblearchcaves.co.uk/attractions/cuilcagh-boardwalk-trail/

Not far from here is also the beautiful Florencecourt House, a National Trust property, where you can enjoy scenic walks and a coffee shop full of homemade bakes and delicious teas and coffees.
