Welcome to Knockninny Marina
On approaching Knockninny Quay by lake or road, one can’t help being spellbound;
a different world embracing a beautiful period residence, 40 berth marina
and slipway that overlooks the vast and astonishingly beautiful water facade
of Lough Erne. Yet, Knockninny Quay is set in a secluded peaceful harbour,
encapsulated by forestry and mature landscaped grounds providing breathtaking
views of Upper Lough Erne and, is a farrago of the regal old and unspoiled
new.
Knockninny Hotel or Knockninny Marina was founded by John Grey Vesey Porter
in the early 1870's and still stands today as it was built. Knockninny Marina
is located at the foot of Ninnian's Hill or "Knockninny" which was named after
St. Ninnian or St. Ninnidh.
